While the enemy confronts us with the wilderness experiences of life using political, economic and social factors to steal, kill and destroy, God has prepared us a way of escape to prove to us that we are not alone.

Though the economic recession left many perplexed as God’s people could not comprehend the essence of recession. Yet the recession was to God’s people, a period designed to strengthen their faith and trust in God.

And ye shall know that I am the Lord your God. Ex 16:12

The recession became an opportunity to prove God’s divine presence and direction for our life. Though the enemy will always paint the recession as a period of suffering, lack and backwardness, to God’s people, it became a period of fortune. Famine time is simply our spiritual time for heaven’s intervention over our affairs. It is a moment of heaven supernatural intervention for the saint. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were all blessed in famine, our case can’t be an exception under this better covenant.

“For the Lord hath made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Gen 26:22

Friends, you a designed to be fruitful even in recession as the glory of light becomes more obvious in darkness. Your condition and circumstances not withstanding,  you must refuse to allow the recession hinder you, famine me is a time to enlarge your vision for ultimate manifestation. And if the recession h cost you anything, God is the reason why it hasn’t cost you everything, so stop making excuses, start manifesting.

Forgetting those things which are behind a reaching forth unto those things which are before. Phil.3:13

I’ve come to realize that there is a place in God where what we have in our hands like manna is more than enough. Over the years we have linked abundance with plenty, which is not necessarily true. Our plans are not subject to our resources neither is our outputs determined by our inputs.

For there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few. 1Sam.14:6

Jesus took the five loaves and two fishes and gave thanks to God before feeding the five thousand and yet, there was left over. We must understand that what we have makes no difference as long as God is involved. You can’t have God and be in lack, never, they don’t match.

He that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little no lack, they gathered every man according to his eating. Jer.29:11
